What are Fluoride Treatments?
Fluoride treatments are helpful in keeping your teeth healthy and strong.
Most patients get enough fluoride through the products they use and the water they drink. However, fluoride treatments are ideal for those individuals who are more prone to developing decay or who are looking for ways to fully protect their smile. The treatment itself is quick, easy and takes just seconds to apply in the office.
Why are Fluoride Treatments needed?
You might need or want fluoride treatments because you are prone to developing cavities. Pediatric patients who don’t have the best eating or brushing habits can benefit from these treatments. Likewise, you might have sensitive teeth or are looking for a viable way to easily protect your teeth. Regardless of how the treatments are used, they are incredibly beneficial to the health of your teeth and can be done at virtually any of your dental appointments.
Who is a good candidate for Fluoride Treatments?
Most patients who want fluoride treatments can safely have the procedure done in our office. We always perform an examination prior to any type of treatment to determine if it’s actually needed. If it is necessary, we can apply the fluoride as needed whenever you’re in the office. We often recommend fluoride treatments to children because they’re more susceptible to decay.
What can you expect with Fluoride Treatments?
The process of applying fluoride is incredibly easy and takes just seconds in our office.
